  I am impressed (and this is not a compliment). I spend today more than 20 days (yes, 20 days) trying to speak to any person at Citibank. Tried 1888, email my manager, email customer support nothing, nothing, nothing… No answer. First time I needed help, I got not even a simply and educated reply. My point of contact was Shamsa, who I really do not know what is doing that as I called her +10 times and email another 20 for nothing. This is the first time in my life I have received such a lousy service from a bank, and I have had accounts in ~10 different banks in 4 different countries. By the way all I needed was to get a debit card… imagine if it was an emergency I would never recommend anyone to go to Citibank

  I rate this branch as very good, a 4 star performance. The tellers are especially friendly, and the entire staff is customer friendly. Where they, Citibank falls on its face is on the banking services themselves. Citibank is quick to accept my deposits and hold my personal and business accounts, but seem incapable of notifying me if wire transfers don't go through, or if my account for some reason becomes blocked, by Citibank itself. Worst case was when Citibank blocked my account and it caused my Employee's Federal Income Tax payment to bounce. Citi never told me and it wasn't until the IRS knocked I my door that I found out. The Branch Mgr was very apologetic and covered all penalties. However, this shows how disorganized and unprofessional the people in the Citibank bank back office, where it counts are. At this point I highly recommend that if you value your time and money, go somewhere else.
